Union Son was started as a nod to my Father. He was President of the Butcher’s Union Local 498 in Sacramento when I was growing up. He then went on to represent the UFCW. He taught me about hard work and dedication to core values.
Union Son ‘Popcorn and More’ Nutritional Yeast based seasonings weredeveloped first as a popcorn seasoning. I had made some samples for my foodie friends. That feed back made the final idea come together. I soon began thinking about different uses. This Nutritional Yeast Seasoning may be used on everything! Try it on Popcorn, Fried Sweet Potatoes, Scrambled Eggs, Chicken, Shrimp, Pork, Beef, Sliced Tomatoes, Soups, Toasted Cheese, Garlic Bread, and Bloody Mary’s. I really enjoy it as a Yeast Broth for soups and Ramen.
